Six weeks of strength and active walking
Combine two outdoor bodyweight sessions with a continuous walk. Organise an active week with stable supports, without turning every day into an intensity test.

Is it right for you?
You do not need weights, but you do need a fixed bench, a stable step and dry ground for strength sessions. Be confident with incline press-ups, step-ups and lunges. Allow 35 minutes for strength and 25 for the walk.
What you’ll train
Maintain two bodyweight strength sessions and one weekly walk, using the surroundings thoughtfully.
Training and rest.
Day 1 is your start date. The schedule repeats each week, with instructions for the relevant stage.
Use the days between sessions for recovery. In heat, rain or slippery conditions, change the time or postpone; do not replace fixed support with unstable furniture.
How the program progresses.
- Weeks 1–2
Manage your pace
Keep the dose and choose supports that allow good technique. Walk at a pace that lets you talk. Do not shorten rests to finish sooner.
- Weeks 3–4
Build consistency
Repeat the full sessions with the same rests. If a variation feels comfortable in two sessions, apply only one progression shown on its card, keeping capacity in reserve.
- Weeks 5–6
Consolidate the habit
Keep the dose, compare your technique and effort with the first weeks and choose a variation you can repeat. The walk stays comfortable; there is no need to turn it into intervals.
